Physical Inventory
The Physical Inventory module provides the capability to manage the counting of locations in your warehouse – such as setting tolerable variances and your own parameters for inventory counts.
Acceptable variance constraints are defined and applied against each count as it is entered. Once a valid count is completed, the appropriate physical and financial inventories are adjusted as necessary. By updating inventory counts in real-time, your personnel have access to the most accurate data possible – eliminating errors and redundant work. This module increases the flexibility of your counting process – allowing count entry via paper counting journals with full screen data entry or direct entry using an RF device. These options give you the opportunity to integrate this functionality into your workflow immediately.
Receiving
The Receiving module enhances your capabilities for receiving merchandise into your warehouse.
The module facilitates purchase order handling – allowing you to generate receiving documents and labels, as well as modify expected quantities and TI-HI’s. It also allows you to track incoming trailers to know exactly when your orders will arrive. Once orders are received at your dock, you have the ability to check inbound receiving from the dock using RF capabilities, choose appropriate locations for storage, and facilitate fork truck put-away via RF or non-RF means.
Shipping
The Shipping module manages sales order processing in your warehouse from order generation to customer fulfillment. You can set up pre-determined zones in your facility to control the picking process as orders are generated. After the items are gathered, this module helps coordinate the actual shipping and distribution of your customers’ orders.
An effective date Master Schedule is created and maintained with expected weekly delivery information. Your warehouse personnel have the capability to maintain the schedule on individual orders until they are released for picking. Once the orders are picked, the module will manage instructions for loading and print the appropriate documents for the departure of the load.
